I’m Matthew Lokey
I’m Matthew Lokey, a 24-year-old wedding filmmaker and cinematographer based in San Antonio, Texas. I’ve been passionate about film for as long as I can remember—growing up a devoted movie buff, always dreaming of telling stories through the lens. As a self-taught filmmaker working with cinema cameras, I’ve honed a style deeply inspired by the movies that shaped me, bringing a cinematic feel to every project I create. I love turning each couple’s love story into something that feels like their own personal film. Influenced by directors like Stanley Kubrick, Yorgos Lanthimos, and the Coen Brothers, I draw from both modern and vintage aesthetics, with a deep appreciation for formats like 35mm and Super 8 alongside today’s digital tools. When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll find me playing guitar, spending time with my dog, or working on my next creative project. I’d love the chance to get to know you and capture your story.
